So I finally took the time to write this down, even if my days on set was mostly waiting (as in every production) I was busy with pending orders and getting everything ready for getting back to classes this monday.
It all started with a call from Robby–lol it sounds like a child’s story…anyway, you know, Robby is a friend who’s in the business and always calls me when he needs help with this because he knows I’ll gladly say yes
It’s like the fourth job I’ve been in with him, and this time my sister had the opportunity to go as well.
So the calls where early morning at 8:00am so we had to get up very early, and worse, the weather hasn’t been really nice this week. It was the worst the first day, very cold and rain. But anyway despite the weather we really had a great time. We mostly spent time with the other extras (doctors, nurses and patients). Unfortunately we couldn’t see much of the process unless we were on the scene, and I even wanted pictures with the actors but there were only few minutes we could catch them without holding them to continue the scene
and everyone wanted pictures. At least the experience is there, right?
Oh, the movie is called “Hora Cero” directed by Ramiro Medina-Flores (although we extras mostly talked with the ADs of course). I don’t think you’ll know the actors as they’re mostly known in Mexican tv and cinema but they’re Jorge Luis Moreno, Damayanti Quintanar, Michel Brown, Laisha Wilkins, Oliverio Gareli, etc.
The scenes we where in, we mostly had to walk down the Hospital halls and on Wednesday outside the Hospital at the entrance. That day was hell, although it was no longer raining and the sun came out after noon, the scene we shoot was before noon and the wind was really cold! We had our jackets on between takes but it still was really cold as the nurse’s uniform is a very light dress with very light tights. *prr* In one of the scenes I was in, I got the wrong cue by the AD so I turned and started walking down the hall before I was supposed to and I ran into the actors, messing up the scene
Since they’re really great looking, all the fellow extras were like “You did it on purpose!” and “You should’ve been like ‘Oh I’m sorry!’ while running your hand down their chest”
lol Other than that, the other scenes where really easy and we just walked down the halls while the scene played.
It was really awesome experience, I just loved being on set even with the weather and waiting it as I’ve said before and our names will be on the credits just for a few minutes being on the background
Although my sister and I both know our faces are on screen so we will be watching the movie and be like “There’s us!” and will be staying the whole credits to see our names!
That’s all I can remember right now, BTS pictures will be posted later as I’m at my dad’s house and he uses all the download speed so as soon as I get back home I’ll be uploading the pics
If you have the opportunity to be on a movie (and want to, of course) go for it!.

Ooh looks like so much fun! Haha, you made me laugh with the running into the actor thing. You should have gone for it, running the hands down the chest and everything!
